The Galerie Vivienne has three entrances: 4, rue des Petits-Champs - 6, rue Vivienne - 5, rue de la Banque - 75002 Paris.

The Galerie Vivienne was inaugurated in 1826.

Its story begins when the president of the Chamber of Notaries, Maître Marchoux, expresses

his wish to build the most beautiful and attractive gallery in Paris.

He wants to create a leading shopping area where the Parisian elite could stroll and have fun.

Under the supervision of architects François-Jean Delannoy and Jacques Deschamps, construction began in 1823.

under the name “Galerie Marchoux”.

The gallery stretches 176 meters long and is designed in a Pompeian neoclassical style, with Corinthian columns, frescoes and delicate ornaments.

A spectacular glass roof bathes the interior in natural light and an imposing dome sits at the center.

Galerie Vivienne is open every day between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
